Call Bestop, They will sell you any single piece you want. I'm aquired several single pieces from them such as hardware pieces. Just let them know you only want the top and windows and no hardware.

Will not work with his YJ. Too long and completely different tops for a YJ and TJ/LJ.

It like the sunrider but do they sell just the tops for the sunrider?

Bestop does yes. BUT...it will NOT work with the outland hardware...completely different mounting. Yes I've seen both. Companies do this on purpose. Since your hardware is Outland you will have to contact them, But as a small company I highly dought you will be able to just get the top.

Yep. and some hints....Outland/Rampage tops are cheap and only seem to last a couple years. Truth about price consurning tops is completely true here.

Bestop...great tops , last a long time , great costomer support.
Viking tops... Requires no hardware/ supported solely by the roll bars.

This sounds like accurate advice to me.

I think there is some hardware required for the Viking/Trektop, just not much, header bar maybe all.

They both require door surrounds (Trektop comes with, Viking needs OE). They both need header bars (Trektop comes with, Viking requires you to buy ours).

The Trektop has a small rod attached to the fabric in the rear (keeps it tight), and a tailgate bar. Not sure about those on the competition, but probably very similar.

The "no hardware" phrase should really be "no bows."

Either way, that's minimal hardware for either top.

Update: It seems that some one before me thought it would be a good idea to bolt on the "sunroof" hinge to the stock hardware. In that case could i just buy a new windshield channel and get a replace a top?

Can I suggest that you take some good photos of your hardware and top, and send them to csbestop@bestop.com with that question? I wouldn't want to answer without seeing what you've got going on. Also, you can use this page to help identify your hardware.
