soggy socks

Raining here. I went to pick up my wife from work, made a right turn and the Jeep pissed all over my socks and shoes. I figured the fresh air intake vent tube may need cleaning out. Lord! It looked like a dirt & red clay sausage. I had to cut the bottom out to get all the crap and, yes, loads of water. Wonder why the end of the tube is so damn narrow? I fixed that.

I assume they had a reason for making it narrow but I'll be damned if I know why.
