Sound system question

Alright so in my jeep right now i have a blaupunkt alanta 110 and polk audio 4 x 6 speakers with a power range of 4-40 watts RMS (120 watts peak power) and it sounds weak when i crank it the speakers start to blow so now i'm buying vdp sound wedges with no speakers and 6 x 9 kicker with a power range of 6-70 watts RMS (140 watts peak power). Will a 4 channel amp with 200 watt power like this((Amazon.com: KICKER DX200.4 200 WATTS 4-CHANNEL AMPLIFIER: Electronics)) be good to make this sound system amazing?

Hey!

Assuming your head unit is in good condition.....yes....that amp will work, and can make your speakers sound much better.....

However, I would recommend an amp with integrated electronic crossover ....this will help in removing very low bass from the front speakers, which will make them less saturated and allow you to 'get more volume' out of them......(see below)

Amazon.com: JBL MA6004 4-Channel Full-Range Marine Amplifier: Electronics

Later!
