Spare tire lock

hey guys and girls just got my "new" YJ and trying to change the tires and the spare has this lock on it. I don't have the key any recommendations on how to get it off.

lock

Hammer a socket on to it, it should come off. You may ruin it , but you don't have key, give it a shot

Ask a few tire shops if they have the key most have them all

You could use a cut off wheel and cut a slot in it for a big screwdriver. I had the same issue on another vehicle and it worked.

^ This.. They'll usually sell you the key for 5-10 bucks or they could remove it for you and sell you a new set of locks for all your wheels and you'll have the key that comes with it..
