Spartan Locker?

Has anyone tried it? And I was also wondering if it would lock up when I accelerate 2wd I'm installing in in my d30 front axle.. Thanks.

I was on the fence between a Lock Right and Spartan when I got mine. Went with the Lock Right because I knew it was tried and true. From what I understand now though is that the Spartan is a decent locker. It has a larger center pin than the Lock Right and Aussie so it can take a little more abuse. I wouldn't be afraid to put it in if I had it to do over again.

If you're putting it in your front axle and you still have the CAD it will be like it's not even there in 2wd. Best of both worlds.

I have 3 offroading trips and a thousand miles of snow plowing on my Spartan. Got it from Randy's Ring and Pinion. I've had powertrax, aussie's and spartan. All work the same, but this one outlasted the powertrax. Powertrax active couplers are a weak point.

All in a YJ and all dana 30's.

Dana 30, chromo axles, 35's and a Yukon Spartan up front. My jeep gets beat on hard and it's taken it all and shrugged it off.

You won't notice it at all in 2wd.
