Spline Drive Lug Nuts

Good Evening All,

I recently decided to get some new lug nuts since the chrome caps on several of my lugs had either busted during a tire change or shaken loose. Anyway, I went with the spline-drive style nuts as I'm hoping it would be a bit of a theft-deterrent as well as a new lug. However, I have noticed that the little flared end on the acorn (that sits against the wheel) is not quite as flared as the stock acorns are.

Should this be of any cause for concern? They do sit properly, just dont fill the very edge of the well (for lack of a better description).

Your thoughts???

Thanks,

Andre

TAKE THEM OFF!!! i work in a big tire store and we all hate them! The keys come a dime a dozen and anyone and their moms can buy em and steal your rims if they want too... And if someone wants your rims they will do one of two things, break in and find the key.. Or steal the whole vehical.. The keys also may break easily under low torque from hand tools.. And leave ya stranded.. AAA dont do trail calls...Some plain aftermarket chrome solid lugnuts is all you should ever run.. NO chrome capped lugnuts.. And make sur they are the same size as your spare tire wrench..
