Spring question

I have a 1990 YJ that had 2.5 4cyl in it. I am doing an engine swap to a 4.0 need to know if springs need to be changes..

I would suspect that you are talking about leaf springs. And the answer would be no. I have seen 350 chevy motors on stock leafs. The leaf spring pack is the same for the 4cyl, and the 6cyl.

jwturner77 - I'm curious why, if you're going for an engine swap, you're only doing the 2.5 to 4.0 swap. Do you already have the motor? Doing a 2.5 to 4.0 swap is about as complicated as doing a 2.5 to 350 swap. Curious why you would only go to the 4.0.

Yeah I already have the 4.0 it was out of my 94 Cherokee
