Square to round headlight conversion?

I have a '94 YJ and I really want to convert it to round headlights. Any ideas?

My YJ has a coil spring conversion and TJ axles in the front. I will never give up the rectangular headlights. Each version of the Wrangler has it's own personality and I would not want to compromise that. That said it is your jeep.

If this is what you are after, I can do one for you. It will be a direct bolt in like yours comes out. No mods to the hood or fenders. The headlights will protrude into the grill slats like a cj grill does. It will be metal and not Fiberglass like the Kentrol ones. chadbrooks123@yahoo.com is best contact or my cell at 502-552-6335

I can handle the square just fine but I just prefer the round ones honestly and it's hard finding a TJ that isn't rusted beyond belief.

square lights is part of a yj. Dont try to make it something its not. But if i were to switch to round lights i would go with a cj-7 w/ a v8 instead of a tj

While I embrace my square headlight and the "Sportcage" of my YJ and bought it for those reasons, Here is another option:

Buy yourself a TJ and spare your YJ the humiliation.

I agree on keeping the square lights. That is how I know right away when I see another Jeep they got a YJ. But if you are going to switch it I have seen it done a way that looked awesome. You just take a TJ grill and cut it right above the headlights where the hood sits since it is different. Cut your YJ grill in the EXACT SAME PLACE. Weld them together, grind down the welds and paint it. Hell, if you weld the other halves together you might even find a TJ owner who will buy it off you to convert to square lights. You never know.

i would do a round conversion but not because i don;t like the square lights. i just think that conversion looks badass. it throws people off when they see it. like moving your fuel filler to the side throws people off too.

While you're at it, why don't you convert to coil springs, and a TJ dash?

You know, this guy didnt ask us our opinions, he asked for ideas.

Id do it just to be different, not to bash a YJ, I think the round conversion form a TJ kinda looks clean, but I DO NOT like the way it lines up with the hood, ill be following this thread hoping to find a better way.

No offense, but http://www.yjupgrades.com/Home.html looks like hell...

If lavern23 had a close up on the hood, id be more inclined to comment, but i kinda dont like the way the lights invade the slats....

This one looks clean, until you see the close up and it doesnt match the hood.

Also, check this out, a bit more thne the grille only swap:
