Question squeeking from leafs?

Does anyone have a RC lift and have a squeeking noise when going over speed bumps or any uneven surfaces for that matter? It's not really an annoying squeek but more of a rubbing of the leafs maybe on the pads between? Not really sure. I did torque everything to spec initially and actually haven't rechecked the torques? Maybe that's the problem?

Did you grease the shackle bushings when you did the lift? That may cause a squeek. I have a 4" RC lift and the only noise I notice is from the shocks compressing while off-road in the twisty stuff. Good luck with your issue.

Torque

I'd check the the tightness of all the nuts/bolts. On the last page of the instruction, right before they thank you for buying their product, here is what they say.

MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
It is the buyers ultimate responsibilty to have all bolts/nuts checked for tightness after the first 100 miles and then every 1000 miles.

Grease everything up real good and check the torque specs.

How long has the kit been on the Jeep? If it has been just a short while, chances are it will go way. Like a break-in period.
