Front or rear? I have pins on my front stabilizer I can pull for off-roading, lets the front end articulate more. The stabilizer transfers weight, ie....if weight goes to the passenger side due to a sharp curve, the bar then transfers some of the weigh to the other wheel thus stabilizing the vehicle.

Yes, I would be hesitant to run without the front stabilizer on the road with the short wheelbase these jeeps have.
