Is it backfiring? If it's getting both then it has to be a timing issue

It has spark on all cylinders and consistently? Sometimes the computer shuts spark down after 1-3 second for different reasons. Ive been fighting similar problems on mine.. All I can say is be thorough when checking for spark.lol.

How did you check the fuel ? Did you measure the PSI at the fuel rail? It might be getting fuel, but is it getting enough?

Will it pop off with Either? If it will start on either & run for a short while, it's most likely a fuel issue.

Ill double check the spark and no its not back firing also mine don't have a fuel rail.

Oh it's a '91. I forget what year the 4 bangers went to MPFI. Regardless, will it do anything with starting fluid? Make any attempt to fire?

Try and start it on starting fluid/carb cleaner, that will eliminate spark issues.
If it starts and stays running, check the Wide Open Throttle switch on the throttle body, it will put the ECU into fuel CUT during the start up process. Took me two weeks to get to the bottom of that one, with some help from WF members
