Question Starting Problem ????

This is my first Jeep. I love it to death but shes giving me issues lately. It will crank over all day long but it has no spark. Plenty of fuel pressure and power to the coil but no spark. Now the wierd part.... If i crank it once and wait a min i will hear the asd relay click or buzz and then the check engine light pops on and it will start and run like a champ. I have pulled the codes and it shows a code 54. I have already replaced the CPS and KPS sensors and no help. I have also swapped and replaced all the relays. Still no solution. Help Please !!!

it sounds like your computer. i went through the same thing last month.you try to start it and it cranks but nothing.just turn the key on and wait a minute.dont try and krank it til the check engine light comes on and you hear the fuel pump relay kick on,so you dont burn anything else out.mine lasted 3 weeks till it wouldnt start at all. use the search in this forum.type in starting problems the users name is mother one(i think) he gives you step by step how to do it yourself.if not heres the name of the company i got mine from. Woodfin Inc.8883711790. they are in virginia. it took a week to get it to me. the part came from washington state to jersey. it was $275 ,shipping was included.good luck

Now if you use the Cherokee computer it might need to be programmed by the dealer.I forget the word they use for it .I called Jeep and they wanted 600 for it.
