Here is the laundry list. Check ball joints, tie rod ends, steering gear box, steering column intermediate shaft u joints, lower column bearing. Wheel hubs, ujoints in front axles, tire rotation, tire balance and front end alignment. After just replacing everything since it was 24 years old and worn out I still had a significant wander and oversteer. The front end alignment fixed that I now have positive steering with no oversteer. Tire pressures play in the game also.
Hot tip take it to a reputable front end shop have them do a complete check and get a written estimate and then go home and decide whether to let them do the work or you.
