Stock transmission skid plate

Hello All

where does one order a new stock skid plate that covers the tranny, which also incorporates the transmission mount.

Mine has more holes than swiss cheese.

All of the catalog co's only seem to have the fany off road stuff

any help is moste appreciated

If you want a totally stock skid plate contact J&W. Make sure you ask them to send you the bolts with it. You're going to need them. While you're at it, also replace the trans. mount. You can get them almost anywhere. Yours is probably shot.

When you drop this skid plate, is it necessary to support the tranny and/or the tcase?

Very much so. You'll have a big mess on your hands if you don't put a jack or block of wood under T-case/slipyoke.

Thanks for the help...just took down the gas tank as that skid plate was just about ready to go and the gas tank with it
