you stripped the head of the bolt right, i would take a impact socket a little smaller than the bolt and beat it on there with a hammer. if you dont have impact sockets take a 6 point craftsman socket and do the same, and if it breaks take it back.

good luck, I had one strip out, it took pulling the motor away from the tranny to get it out.

Thumbs up striped bolt

did the same thing on my 89 yj i have a small mig welder so i welded a new nut ontop of the bolt and spunn it out took 3 -4 try's but i got it
when you weld the nut on it warms the bolt and helps release it a little bit of WD-40 helps too

if you can get to it good enofe...use a dremel and cut it back to a hex then just use a smaller socket.

just a option

Unless of course it is an intake manifold bolt on a ZR2 and you have to call your neighbor over to drill out the bolt being careful to not jack up the threads in the head and then use the EZ out.
