Stupid Question: OBDII?

this may seem stupid, but is there an OBDII connector (port) under the dash of my 94 wrangler? the only reason i ask is because the owner before me installed an alarm and there's lots of wiring i have to get rid of. anyway, just wondering if there is an ODBII port under my dash. if not where(?) if any?

Sorry. OBDII was not standard on all vehicles till 96. You do have a ECU interface connector under the hood sticking out of the wiring harness near the brake booster. It looks like a relay socket.

Ya, it would be nice to make troubleshooting easier but the US Gov didn't mandate it till 96. That might be part of why there wasn't a 96 Wrangler made. Dunno.

I had a fancy alarm on my soft top jeep for a few years. It had a proximity sensor so if you reached inside at all the alarm would go off. You didn't even have to touch anything, just break that invisible bubble and your done. It worked even while the top was off. Never had any troubles.
