such a little thing such a big headache

Alright feel free to laugh I changed the fuel filter on my 95 YJ a few weeks ago. It was leaking the day i did it but i fixed it by getting rid of the spring clamps and using threaded clamps. Today driving down the road the smell of gas came on then the jeep died. Its leaking again from the fuel filter Theres a rubber hose on each side of the fuel filter that connects to the metal fuel lines. Sould i replace these hoses? I feel like a fool having so much trouble with a fuel filter

yes, I know this from expierence.....had the exact same thing happen, get quality fuel line as well....quality you say? I initially bought line from a box store and it split on me etc. I ended up buying from NAPA and it held up.

im guessing the ends of the hose jus get stretched and cant hold on the filter and line as well? and you think its time for new fuel lines too? theres a few specks of rust on them.

make sure you get the correct fuel line. the line has a bend in it and you want to get one that is specific for the yj, don't just get a piece of rubber fuel line and slap it on there, you will start leaking again
