Exclamation suspension feel

Hi, i am new in the forum.

My name is Darth Xav, I have a 95 2.5L YJ, hasta a 3" body lift and when I bought this vehicle, i noticed it jumped like a rabbit while driving it or a charged buffalo, It was toooooo stiff. Jumped a lot on straight roads.
Went to the mechanic, and took a leaf out on each one, and changed to procomp ES3000 for 3" lift brand new.

Lowered my psi on the tires to 28. The ride improved a little, and was a little happy. But... I went off roading for the first time the other day, and it took a beating...didnt' like it that much.

So now I feel/think that the suspension is all slappy, loose and it's jumping again a lot! on straight roads.

What can I do, what should I check. Do you know any bolts I should put attention and maybe tighten them? Any recomendation on the leaf springs or anything you know that would help me get a decent ride will change my life forever!!! ja thanks.

Drop your tire psi way down when offroading. Makes a huge difference.

i have 28 psi in front,29 in the back, and that was my psi before, while, and after , till now . Would that of damaged my vehicle? i cant stand the jumping in straight line concrete or pavement streets. Has been doing that again since i off roaded, i thought i got rid of that problem, What could be causing this condition? or what could of have been damaged?

Wibble-Wobble

YJ suspensions have an inherent "Ass Wiggle," that you just need to get comfortable with.

You can get adjustable front and back shocks to minimize the situation. But, on the trail you'll find that the wheels are trying to articulate up and down on the trail - a good thing.

Driving down a paved road with inconsistent surfaces, rutts, and pot holes, your Jeep suspension is trying adapt. Depending on your tires, this situation can feel very unnatural an maybe unsafe.

I wouldn't air tires down tires less than manufacture specs or dis-connect any sway bars unless your about to run a Jeep trail. Just get the feel of your Jeep while on the road, if that's where you use it the most.

ok so it`s 2014 now... i and i solved the problem.
I got that ST%Q·$W%" body lift out. Purchased a prothane body mount kit, with 1" added lift so i can fit my 31 tires. I also got rid of those procomp 3000 shocks, and replaced them with some cheap stock ones from autozone....HUUUGEEE DIFFERENCE 180 HUGEE DIFFERENCE...also got rid of that noise vibrating stupid flow master. Now my jeep purrrrsss like a kitten and has even more power. feels so good. Before I had to buy a brand new jetta because i couldn`t stand the jeep. Guess what? i am ridding the jeep whenever i can now. PASS THE TIP to others.
