Unhappy $#!T... i think that cover it.. need help..

so i have been searching like hell to find a Lower Altinator bracket for my 4.0.. i finally got it running and then that breaks.. any ways any one know any were other then ebay to find these or it there upgraded ones available as im not impressed by this beer can aluminum pos they use.. please need any help i can get..

A lot of the XJ's and WJ's run the 4.0. See if a local salvage yard in your area has one. Other than that, and Flea Bay, Your only other option is to get a piece of steel and build your own.

Your not currently having any luck with your Jeep zachattack. But yes my buddy had to build his own bracket cause he was unable to locate one. But look around and post it in the Buy, Sell, trade under the wanted section. Youll be suprised how those weird parts might be just chilling in someones garage.

Call Collins Bros. in Texas, they have all kinds of stuff for Jeeps there.

thanks guys I was able to get one from a a guy here on the forum and should have it Wednesday.. This place has saved me so much already.. EBay wanted 75 bucks shipped and 2weeks to possibly get it..

i plan on making one from Steele once I get the replacement put in.. And pick up a new welder in a month or so.. I'll be sure to post the specs as I'm sure someone will need them.. Like myself.. I just don't trust "pop can aluminum"..

AMC 4x4 salvage in Glendale is a good source for that kind of stuff.
Stop in and check them out to see what they have so you know.
Despite the name, they have mainly YJ, XJ and TJ.
