tbi 2.5 to 4.0 swap

have a 1989 yj with the crappy 2.5 tbi go kart engine and keep having problems with it , I've started looking into a 4.0 swap but I'm not really sure how Indepth the swap is I'm pretty mechanically inclined as to the physical swapping of the motors but I have no idea what is required to change as far as wiring and electrical , any help or knowledge would be appreciated greatly

That would be super helpful as I'm sure I'll be asking the same question before too awfully long.

pretty much everything

engine
transmission
possibly transfer case input shaft
complete wiring harness and computer from 4.0
engine mounts
possibly fuel pump depending what year 4.0 you find

basically, most people will tell you to find a 4.0 and sell the 4cyl jeep unless you have a complete donor vehicle or are attached to/deeply invested in your current jeep
