Temperature reading to hot

Hello I'm new to the form hoping someone can help. My temperature gauge is reading higher than I feel it should but the engine doesn't seem to be over heating. I've changed the stat the radiator and the pump and its reading the same it's running between 210 and the next mark can anyone tell me how bad these temperature sending units are for false readings or do I need to be very worried about a cracked head. I'm not losing water or oil if its not the sending unit I'm lost.

If its not pukin water dont worry about it. The analog gauges are notoriously bad because of the printed circuit film on the back side. You can replace the sender and clean the film carefully with a very fine sand paper and hopefully this will solve your issue. If not, revert to my first sentence.
