im running 33
" muds at the moment with a 4.5" LIFT
and a 1"BL
, i have loads of room for 35"
tyres..my axle (D35
) has been strengthened with chromolly axle shafts and a powertrax no-slip locker and ive had no probs at all in 2-3 yrs of offroading (mud mostly!), i know the D30
will handle the up-size and i feel the rear will also...i know the weight of the 33" kumho KL71 is 55 LBS
,..the 35" tyres im looking at range from 57 LBS
to 67 LBS
! i know the gearing helps but my YJ runs sweet and powerfull with 3.55 ratio
, plus afew performance mods installed! if i went with a LIGHT 35"
tyre (58 LBS
) would it cause any problems other than maybe losing some of the 5th gear power??
any pix of YJ on 35" would be cool to see..cheers chaps! << UK JEEPER!!
