Thumbs down This is driving me nuts!!!!!

Ok so I finally got all the parts I needed to get my jeep on the road and now I think the drive shaft that Tom Wood's sent me is the wrong size...i was doing a test drive to see if my speedo wants to start working or not and i heard something that did not sound right when i got back this is what I found

The dust cap came off even after it was spot welded...this seems to me to be a problem and im calling tom woods on Monday... what do you guys think

here are some pics of the new set-up

Looks like the top leaf of the spring wrap is too far from the main eye, but it could just be the picture.

check it 1st compared to the other spring, if it is in fact way out, then I would call who made the springs and go from there.

In looking at the alignment of the housings, aren't they supposed to be in a parallel line?

Both on the same plane. They don't have to line up exactly but both should be in parallel lines: ___________

______________

From what has been posted here, the closer to this you can get, the less vibration you will have.

the housings aren't parallel because it's lifted, that's the reason for the dual cardan on the new driveshaft...

Like Garyk said, the driveshaft looks too long. It looks to me like the spring is stretched and yanking the shackle straight... first bump you hit was likely what caused that shackle eye to open up like that. Looks like there isn't enough play for the springs to flex at all. It looks really bad to me

Does your suspension feel crazy stiff like you installed steel bars where the shocks should be? from the looks of it, it seems like the rear of your jeep should feel rock solid and have almost no give at all...
