Nope just makes your throttle body look different. Save the money and grab a piece aluminum and mill one for free trust me it does nothing i bought 3 different lengths and tried em all for a month at a time no change or difference in gas mileage or throttle response. Change your throttle body to the 4.0 then we talk some more
Also check the size of your tires they affect power and milage

I have one on my 98. It made no difference. Throttle body spacers are for carburated engines where the fuel and air mix before they enter the cylinder. otherwise, all they are doing is increasing the length of tube your air travels to reach the cylinder.

Throttle Body Spacers by themselves do very little to improve engine performance, they might add half a horse and give you an ever so slight increase in throttle response but otherwise they don't do anything by themselves...

They work on any intake setup, all they do is create turbulence in the airflow which disturbs the air mixture inside of the intake to disperse the fuel better. Doesn't matter if it's a carb, TBI, or MPFI, they all see similar effects.
