Throttle Cable - needs some fabricating...

I have the MC 2100 in my 90 YJ 4.2L. The throttle cable is now "bunched up", causing it to bend up (think upside-down "U"). That bend is causing it be very difficult to manage working it with my foot. If I don't have a strong return spring, the cable doesn't want to return back to its starting point easily and leaves the idle high. If I use a stronger return spring, it's like trying to lift a ten pound weight with my foot every time I press the pedal. And creeping in the woods is nearly impossible.

I want to cut down the cable, but in doing so, I will need to use some sort of cable stop on the end that is attached to the pedal hardware.

Anybody know where I can get some sort of cable stop that would do the trick?

Cable Fittings - Sleeve, Crimp and Clip Fittings

I used these loop sleeves when I installed my hand throttle. I picked mine up at OSH, but Home Depot or Lowes should stock them also. They can be crimped with standard pliers and come in all sorts of sizes. Is that what you were looking for?
