Thumping sound when passenger side has occupants

I've noticed a thumping sound coming from the passenger side of my 95 When I have someone in the passenger seat and someone behind them in the back seat. When my 13 year old who is a little over 100lbs and my other child who is about 100 lbs are in those seats its not an issue.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I was going to change the shocks since they are pretty rusty and old but not sure if that would resolve the issue.

I few weeks ago I took it to a muffler shop thinking I needed a new exhaust. The Tech pointed out that the exhaus was fine but there was not a bracket behind the muffler between the muffler and tail pipe like there should have been. They slapped a bracket on and I was on my way. I've been trying to recall if I noticed the noise before or after that day.

The other thing is that the sound increases with speed and has a constant rhythm. It reminds me of another I car I had that had a tire that was out of balance only louder.

if its rythmatic its a rotating part. pull a tire and check your drum to mae sure that they are in tact. also check your drive shaft seals. make sure they dont look like they are wearing funny.

Your passengers wouldn't play a practical joke on ya?

Might want to check the U-joints too.
