Timing Chain Replacement Steps

I believe I have to replace my timing chain. I have a 1992 YJ 4.0 with about 160,000 miles on it. It sounds like a diesel when idling, goes away when in motion. I have been told by several and read here on the board that it is the slack of the chain slapping against the case causing the sound. So, I have done several searches hoping to find a "how to" but to no avail. If someone has done this before and can post a step by step, or provide a link that will do the same, that would be great.

I have a haynes manual for it, but I really don't find these things to be accurate on some occasions and like to have a second set of directions.

Just purchsed the Jeep last month and love it. Pretty good at standard maintenance stuff. This is more than I've ever tried to bite off.

Changing out calipers, rotors and brakes tonight. That shouldn't be too scary.

Newbie to the board. Looks like there is great information and great people.

Thanks for any help.

Basicaly, remove radiator, water pump, timing chain cover, remove the gear from the cam shaft and the chain.
Install a new gear and chain with the marks on the gear and crank shaft facing each other when the #1 cylinder is at TDC.
Put stuff back on in the reverse order you took them off.
