Question Tire pressure.

I'm running 33's and was wondering (for the remainder of the cold weather up here in WA) if I need to adjust the pressure.

What kind of tires are you running? Makes the most difference... I run less pressure in say a swamper than i would a street tire due to the stiffer sidewall... Brand/type of tire makes all the difference in the world

If this were my rig I would run 28 psi. However I would lower it to 22 psi if im going wheeling. Wheeling on rocks should run about 14-16 psi. If you don't want to adjust all the time Try 28, and see how that feels on the pavement. My jeep is pretty "light" however. No winch, stinger, hard top off. I would Increase by 2-3 psi per 200 lbs of extras.

In my DD i run 19-20 in the front and 17-18 in the rear. Tire wear is really even and covers the whole tire (not just center or sides) and it softens the ride a bit. When offroad ill air down to 8-10 psi if there is air close by or about 12psi if its not close. Im running 33" hankook dynapro mts
