Look into some new blemished tires. Picked up some Cooper discovery ats for cheap. Look good too.

I put a set of Nexen Roadin MTs on my GMC 4X4, and my YJ, good all around tire and the best price I found, not real aggressive, not bad loud, last a good while.

There are a lot of tires in that size since it's a popular choice.

-BFG AT KO's
-BFG KM2's
-Goodyear Duratracs
-Goodyear Wranglers
-Falken Rocky Mountain ATS

etc Those are all of the top of the line type tires that have earned a very good reputation around the offroading community.

You'd be hard pressed to find such a wide tire in the 31" variety.

STTs will be really hard to ride on road due to noise and vibrations although theyare fantastic off road. try Yokohama Geolander AT/s, if they are available there. My fav are anything like a Michelin LTX tread pattern!

I have Tera trac ats on mine now. I put 20000 on them from my Toyota than have them on the jeep now and have put 7 or 8 on them. Still good tread and don't do bad off road. 600 for four.
