Trac bars

Putting 2.5" rough country lift on this weekend and am wondering if I should keep the trace bars or ditch them. It's my dd. I'm going to have swaybar discos on the front amd the kit comes with a rear and front trac bar relocation bracket. Put it on or take it off?

You shouldn't need the trac bars. Leave them off and if feel the need to put them back on you can.

Most of the kits ditch the rear. In my RE 2-1/2" kit they included a relo bracket for the front. Mounts on the axle end. I like the on-road manners with having the front.

When I did the 4" on my 2nd jeep, I left both trac bars off and it felt fine

Didn't know YJs had good road manners to begin with...haha

With my 4 inch lift I road with track bars, and then look them out. I couldn't tell the difference.

They need to be relocated... ...to the trash can

Seriously, I have a much better ride on and off road with mine removed.

For my front trac bar, I invested into the JKS telescoping trac bar so far I like it a lot.

I use the mounting location for the trac bar on the axle for my stearing stabilizer.

I put the steering stabalizer on before the jks trac bar, and when i went to put my trac bar on I couldn't find the mounting spot for it lol. I got to lookin at it and I had actually used the mounting location for my trac bar for my stabalizer. I actually kinda liked it there better lol. If I hadn't invested in the trac bar already I think I would've kept it there.

IMO, but I would keep the front on. I don't have my rear only due to the fact that my jeep decided it didn't want it anymore (broke it).
