Tracbar purpose?

Im new to yjs and was thinking about doing a soa.My question is what purpose does the trac bar serve with leafsprings,and why would you put it back on after a soa.

On a YJ it was pretty much a safety thing to help keep the axles center. But really is not needed.

That's really up to you. Some people keep them because it helps the ride on road and others say they notice nothing.

only thing i would worry about with a SOA is really bad body role just cause you center of gravity will be so high!!... like i would not worry about it myself but its up to you!/

Sway bar is more for body roll. Track bars are to keep the rear centered. I ditched the track bars and sway bar on mine. It is fine of the street but it does have more roll in turns.

I ditched the tracbars but kept the swaybars. I didn't like the body roll that much.

I think no trac bars with sway bars but using discos is the way I will be going,thanks for all the help.Its nice to find a flame free board.Thanks .
