trani problems

i have a 90 yj replaced trani from junk yard works fine but leaks fluid through a hole in rear case at bottom looks like a factory hole but dont know what it is for. replaced trani to transfer case seal but when i add oil it pours out the hole help pls thanks

does the old trans have anything there?
what trans?
got any pics?
could be missing drain plug
