Tranny swap

Ok so my transmission sucks I have a 95 four cylinder. It pops out of first frequently and my fifth gear has gone bye-bye. I happen to have an Ax 15 sittin in this my other jeep. However, the t case is gone in it. The guy I bought it from hit a tree and broke the housing completely open. So basically it comes down to wtf do i do? Do i go for the ax15 swap or what? I plan on eventually doing alot more stuff with the jeep hopefully so I really REALLY do not want to go back to the ax5. i hate it.

Suggestions??

the ax 15 does not bolt directly to the 2.5 motor, bell housing and splines are different. t case splines are different also. not really worth the time and money to make it fit the 2.5

better off upgrading the whole driveline.

ax15 is not a cheap quick swap into a 4 banger though.

ok its not the best bet even though i have it on hand. so what are my options? I like the idea of the ax15 swap because it should hold any mods I do later down the line, but I'm open to suggestions for anything that will bolt up directly or anything

the only direct bolt up is the ax5. i say upgrade all together cuz you're gonna spend a few hundred dollars to mate the ax 15 to your 4 banger, that money could go toward upgrading the whole thing.

jeep 4.0 is as straight forward as a swap can get, no swap is a walk in the park. chevy 350 is also common.
