Trans mount?

Have any of you had 2 change out the little trans mount on the skid plate (92,6cyl, 5spd) - it looks like a stud with a couple bushings on it - Ive seen some people call it a torque mount?? Does anyone know where I can buy one? Mine is toasty!!
Thanks - Bill

You would think so, but I havent seen one for sale also. I just made one out of a couple fender washers and some soft rubber I had lay-n around...

Or are you talking about the other single stud?

Wow, just what I'm doing tomorrow lol. The rubber on my mount was shot and due to a slight ATF leak made for some really scary noises the other day. I'm buying a used mount from my Jeep parts guy. He has a few available. Let me know if ya need it. His prices are really reasonable.

I was thinking about the smaller round one that is off to the side of that one about 6 or 8 inches...

Yep, it is attached to the bar that attaches under the tranny mount - the exhaust hanger is then on the other side of the tranny mount. Without this bolt you will break tranny mounts ALOT more often. I have tried to run without it. On the road it is probably fine not to use it, but I would tear tranny mounts on the trail often without this other mount....

Ibuildembig - the mount you linked 2 is the big tranny mount I need the small one that looks like a bolt with 2 shock bushings - Ive actually found the bushings thru PST but they dont carry the stud. I may actually have 2 go 2 the dealer this time... I M sure there is one at the Jeep junk yard bye my house - but the ol' dude there says he doesnt have 1 - I think he doesnt want 2 bother with getting one off a jeep in this freezin azz weather - sorta dont blame him BUT....... ;>}

I'll ask him this evening when I go to his house. Send me a PM with your year, engine and trans configuration and I'll get back to you tonight.
