Transmission problems

My transmission on my 1994 wrangler 5 speed rattles in 2nd and 3rd gears. Why would this be? Any thoughts?

Synchronizers and bearings are wore. 2nd and 3rd are the 2 most popular gears to use, and get the most use in town driving.

First off, how about a little info. Can you fill out your profile, or at least put something in your signature as to the specs of your Jeep?

Is it a 4 or 6 cylinder Jeep? The trannys are different between the two.
