Transmission Rebuild question/help

K so i've looked and looked for a tranny to swap with mine. I have a 95 rio grande with a manual ... well on my way to a softball game 5th started making ALOT ALOT of noise so i stopped using 5th...made it home (thank god). Parked it and haven't driven since... I since have gotten the tranny out in hopes of finding a replacement with no luck. So my father has told me he'll rebuild it for me so i can get back out the road. My question is WHO has rebuilt their tranny's and where did you get your parts from? Links or any info would be awesome. I would like to find a full kit. Or i think they come in a couple different kits. but my tranny grinds into every gear except 5th and that was the first to go out. I know this is the cheaper route instead of buying a new tranny or finding another, just exausted on trying to find that "right" site. Any help?

Give us some specs and I'm sure we can help. Automatic or manual, 4cyl or 6?

Check out this website. D A V E Y S J E E P S . C O M - Specializing in Jeeps & Jeep Parts They are in Salem Ohio. They specialize in nothing but wrecked & rebuildable Jeeps. They would have just what you need @ a reasonable price. A friend of mine bought a 4 cyl for his YJ for $400. It looks like your about 3 hrs from them

No problem. I wish I was a lot closer to them. I live in central Illinois. That's about an 10 hour road trip for me. One of these days I will. They have great deals on parts & rebuilders. I hope they can help you out.

I just bought a jeep that needs a lot of TLC. That place is about three and a half hours from me. Already making a list.
