Turn signal

I'm new to forums so hopefully this works out ok.
I have a 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ. The right turn signal light is solid front and back and the indicator as well. The left works fine and I also checked all of the bulbs. Is there an easy fix, or do I have to replace the turn signal in the steering colum?

Try changing your bulbs. Do all your other lights work normal? When my lights did that in my F-150, it was because I had a bulb out in the back. I don't think it's in your column and if it was the relay, I would think it would do it on both sides.

Thanks. After posting I checked a lot of things and figured that it was supossed to be a dual filiment bulb and it had a singal. I ended up changing the whole until because the one on there was replaced and a piece of garbage.
The new problem is when the lights are on, the reverse light is on, on the side that I changed. Everything else works and I tried every combination with the three wires (I think). Any sudjestions? At least the brake lights and turn signals work now!

Do you mean that both bulbs in the rear are lit with the lights on, or do you just have the lense upside-down, and therefore, showing through the clear section as well as the red?
