Turn Signal Help

First off thanks to everyone on this forum. You guys have helped me out a few times already and I appreciate it. So I have been reading some issues others have had with turn signals and mine at least to me seems a little unique. Any help you guys might have would be much appreciated. Okay so My left turn signal works fine every time when my headlights are off. When the headkights are on its works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't work the turn signal indicator on the dash stays lit but is very dim along with the left turn signal light. I have changed the relay, cleaned the light socket, changed the bulb and tail light bulbs. The Hazard lights work just fine. I do have a trailer wiring harness hooked up that runs to both the front and rear. I am going to disconnect and pull it out because it was installed by the PO and I don't plan on ever needing it anyway. If that does not fix the problem I just might be chasing some grounding issue somewhere, but if someone has seen this or might have another idea it would greatly be appreciated. And I will post when I do find the issue.

I had a very similar problem and it turned out to be a bad bulb in my left side marker light. I replaced it and now it's fine. It may be a bad bulb. My marker light would light up but it was very dim.

All. Did some thorough inspections of all my turn signal lights and found that one of the outside lightbulb contacts where melted. Probably due to water intrusion. Replaced bulb and new lens and problem solved. Woo hoo. On to the next project. 4" lift, power steering conversion, replacing shackles and all new bushings, than my electric fan conversion that I just received.
