Turning over but not startin

1993 Jeep Wrangler Sahara had same issue 2 weeks ago with it turning over but not starting. Replaced the fuel pump fuse and it fixed it and had no issues until this morning. This time same exact issue with it turning over but not starting. Checked the codes and was all good, not a pressure issue and replaced the fuel pump fuse again just to be on the safe side. Any ideas??

Are you getting fuel pressure at the rail? Have you checked the fuel pump relay? When you turn the key on, what does your gas gauge do? Does it peg all the way to full?

Crank shaft position sensor is a common problem. I also had the sensor in the distributor go bad and cause the same problem.

There is also a relay mounted on the firewall just to the right of the battery. Pull it apart replace the relay and clean the contacts very well. This is what my 94 needed.

When I turn the key on the gas gauge does not change and I have already replaced the fuel pump relay and still nothing. How do you check for fuel pressure at the rail? Isn't there a fuel rail test port?

Also, when we sprayed starting fluid into the carburetor it would start but the minute you quit spraying it shuts off again and won't stay running. Hope that helps!

If it starts while you spray it, it means that its not you crank position nor you camshaft position sensor, it's just that you aren't getting gas. Check your wiring. That seems to be the problem.

Is your fuel pump priming when you turn the key?
