turns but won't start

I took my kids to school this morning on my yj and a few joys later my jeep won't start while I was driving it it was fine ...what can be the problem...thanks

Does it turn over? Two times this has happened to me on other vehicles and it was the fuel pump both times (fuel injected engines). Not saying that's your problem, but...

If it turns over but does not start it may also be a bad distributer.

With that year (92 4cyl), a lot of the problems arise from a bad computer, one day it works and then it stops. Turn the key on and see if you can hear hear the fuel pump come on. See if it throws any codes. Also the CPS may be the culprit.
