Underhood Jack and Lug Wrench Reinstall

I used my jack and lug wrench for the first time last week and I'm having a hell of a time trying to reinstall it in it's proper location under the hood. The clip like thing doesn't seem to clear the parts. Does anyone know if there is some easy trick to it or do I have to keep on doing a trial and error method?

Make sure your screw jack is ALL the way down.

Like he said make sure its all the way down. When you get it clipped use a screw driver to jack it up so its snug against the top of the clip and doesn't rattle around.
