Upgrades needed with new lift kit?

I recently put a 2.5" Rough Country lift on my 89 Wrangler, as well as upgraded my tires from 31x10.50s to 33x12.50s.

Should I upgrade/modify my axles/driveshaft/steering shaft/radiator/anything?
Just want my baby running as smooth as possible!

I would suggest upgrading the gears to 4.56 with the 2.5L if you are going to run a 33x12.5 tires. I believe your axles have 4.10 in them already. I put 33s on my YJ years ago with stock gears and could not hold highway speeds in 5th. You might want to consider an SYE kit that will prevent you from having to drop the skid plate with spacers to keep the drive shaft in line. Not completely necessary if the budget does not allow for it. I Just did my SYE kit this year and have had the spacer kit on for 10 years.

Good luck

When you talk about the "spacer kit" are you refering to the trans drop kit?
