Very unusual problem please help!!

I have a 94 Wrangler with a very unusual problem. When I start the jeep it will run and shift perfect for about 15- 25 minutes. After that I will try and shift and when I go to give it gas and let out the clutch it will stall. It then takes about 30 seconds to start it back up when I restart it, it idles very high over 2000 RPM’s and the shifting problem continues. i then have to let the jeep cool back down and it will run perfectly again for 15 – 25 minutes.

sounds like the comp doesn't think it is warming up
check engine light on?

could be a lot of things or a combination of a bad temp sensor, O2 sensor, IAC or vacuum leak

That will just make it run rich...

o2 sensor wont stall it.....

A sensor or solenoid is warming up, then going bad.

Check all your sensors cold, then warm, the one that goes out should be obvious, im leaning towards map (vacuum) sensor. CHECK YOUR INJECTORS AND FUEL PRESSURE TOO!

Regardless it sounds like your Jeep is running way lean when it warms up, losing a ton of power causing your stalling issue.

There is nothing wrong with your clutch or transmission.

Your best bet is to take it to a mechanic that knows these vehicles, most shops will avoid it, unless they employ a Jeeper, or Chrysler tech.
