vibrations - help!

I just bought a 90 YJ and while shifting into each gear it vibrates while excelerating. Had the tires balanced - didn't fix the problem. Someone told me that it could be the rear u joint but then other people say that's not the problem - it could be chatter marks on the clutch??? HUH. If someone could give me a couple of things to start looking at so I could start somewhere and go from there - would be appreciated. Thanks

tires, u-joins, driveshaft, wheels, theres alot of things basically get your wheels ballanced first, check for play in the u-joints, including the front d-shaft and axle, then if that dont help look into tires. good luck

oh also check your t-case output bering, try to wiggle the d-shaft if it moves and your SURE its not the u-joint probable cause is the out put bering.

Is there any lift on the vehicle? If so, I would suspect the rear driveshaft u-joints. If not, see above^^^

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
