Question water leaks

Hi everyone maybe somone can point me in the right direction my problem is when it rains water drips from underneath my dash water comes out the controls for my heat where the radio should be my legs also get wet I have replaced the gasket underneath the windshield and the windshield I have made sure the drain hole underneath the vent on the hood was open I have lost 2 radios because of water damage I had to install my radio inside a marine radio box for boats and mounted it inside my glove box my top is a soft top and is in good condition please help:

if its not the drain thingy check the seal where the windshield frame meets the body. that is a common culprit

You have already addressed the common problem areas. Now I guess you have to crawl up under the dash and have someone spray the Jeep with a hose and see where it is coming from.

does it leak just when your moving or if your also sitting if its just when your moving mayb theres a hole in the firewall area

He He...I'm having the same problem! I even ran a bead of weatherstrip adhesive along the inside edge of the windshield/cowl seal and it still leaks. I can't seem to pinpoint it. Let me know what you find out.

I had a similar issue. Take the cover of the vent intake in front of the windshield. On mine the plastic vent housing didn't come up flush to the cowling. What I think was hapenning is water would seep in under the vent grate and drip down inside the Jeep, not down the vent like it was designed. I thru some rtv under the vent grate before I reinstalled and haven't had any water in the since. I also put a dab of rtv in each screw hole just for the heck of it. By doing this, the water can only go thru the grates and not seep in around it and miss the vent. Hope this makes sense...Good luck!!!
