Question water pump issue

i have a 93 wrangler, 4.0 6. the water pump went in it. i got a new water installed, now when the engine reaches running temp (210 deg.) i am hearing what appears to be a grinding sound. Anybody know what could cause this? Please help, I am at my wits end. thanks

do you have a serpentine belt? if you do, did you get the reverse rotation for it? If it is getting to operating temp, the thermostat should be opening if you are low on fluid in the radiator or the rest of the system that could cause issues. And if the pump is clockwise rotation with a serpentine belt and low fluid you could be trying to suck in air instead of fluid.
