Water pumps

I was wondering if anyone has used those high flow water pumps on an 2.5l 4 cylinder . I want to see if there any better than stock and does it put to much pressure around the cylinders? Thanks.

I have a friend that installed the high flow water pump on a 2.5 and it hasn't made a lick of difference for cooler Temps. or on the trail.

This is second hand knowledge, so take it for what it's worth.

Good luck!

Oh! But, it was worth installing is the fail-safe thermostat. When this thermo fails, it's in the "open" position so you don't have to pull it out on the trail when it fails. (Thermo available at any auto-zone)

Sorry for the double post.

I drill a weep hole in every thermostat I install to aid in it opening correctly

Alright thanks guys, I just ended up putting new replacement water pump on with a new radiator because that was falling apart and it stays a lot cooler.
