89 yj 4.2 .
Maybe I could get a little advice based on other people's experience. I had the case of the squeaks recently. No prob right I took the ser belt off and inspected the whole setup. I found a pulley that was a little shaky so I replaced it. The new pulley I put on was 3.75 diameter and the old one was 4.0 inches. Had enough extra play in the tension so it wasn't a problem. I was able to get the serp belt tight enough. So now I have a new noise. The waterpump pulley is dancing and squealling. Usually that's a good sign to change the waterpump but does anyone else have another idea?

If its moving around, or leaking from the lower weep hole, its time to replace it.

It may have offered up its ghost due to the change in tension.
