Weber carb

There is a screw right behind the auto choke that seems to adjust the carb flaps. Can anyone get me to a starting spot on this adjustment. I know the fuel mix screw should start at 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 turns out and the fast ideal screw should be barley touching. Jeep is running so rich you can't stand next to it without eyes burning and plugs are black. This all seemed to happen after a small hose fell of the exhaust manifold near the fire wall?.. The small hose has runs threw the fire wall.
