Weber Carb

I was wondering what the big difference is between the 34 and the 32 36 weber carb.I have an 88 wrangler with the 258. I was trying to decide witch weber conversion kit to go with. Any suggestions.

I've been told that the 34 is a weber but was outsourced to Solex. It still operates like any other Weber. I've put one on my 90 Laredo and have loved it. One suggestion, there are so many different views on regulators and fuel pumps..... the only thing you need is a 4070 Carter electric fuel pump. High volume low pressure, absolutely no need for a regulator. Cames with mounting plate and fasteners.

The 34 is usually found on sale about $50 or more cheaper. I don't know how the 36 works but the 34 will help with gas milage, cause instead of both barrels opening at the same time, they open one at a time, like two one barrel carbs. That way when you're cruising its just off of one barrel then when you romp on it the other kicks in and gives you the needed power. Pretty cool huh?
